You might want to check from time to time if Power Inspector has new updates<\/strong>, so you don\u2019t miss out on new features<\/strong>, and so that you get all the latest fixes<\/strong> for the latest version of Unity.<\/p>\n

The process for updating Power Inspector is very similar to installing it, and done using the Package Manager window inside of Unity.<\/p>\n

You can do so by following these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Open the Package Manager window using the menu item Window > Package Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. In the dropdown at the top of the list view select My Assets<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Find Power Inspector<\/b> in the list view and select it.<\/li>\n
  4. If you see a greyed out button labeled Download<\/strong>, that means that your installation is up-to-date, and you are done here! If instead you see a button labeled Update<\/strong>, continue to the\u00a0next step<\/strong> to update Power Inspector to the latest version.<\/li>\n
  5. Click the Update<\/strong> button and wait until the download has finished.<\/li>\n
  6. Click the Import<\/strong> button and wait until the loading bar disappears and the Import Unity Package<\/strong>\u00a0dialog\u00a0opens.<\/li>\n
  7. Click Import<\/strong>, then wait until the loading bar disappers. You should not<\/strong> change what items are ticked on the window, unless you know what you\u2019re doing, because that could mess up the installation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Power Inspector should now be updated to the latest version.<\/p>\n
